Hot Set Oven

The test is carried out especially in cable industry, where cable sheath dumbbells are placed in the oven at a temp. of 200 degree centigrade for a stipulated time, by applying a stipulated dead weight to its end. The plastic sample elongates due to the effect of temp. The elongation of gauge length is measured with the help of a line laser and a digital height gauge mounted on the glass door of the oven. The oven is available with a facility to have 3,4,5,7 samples to be tested at a time. Oven is supplied with suitable sample holding clamps and brass dead weights.
